Aparigraha, non – greed or non-attachment is the fifth & final yama… ‘graha’ means to take, to seize, or to grab, ‘pari’ means ‘on all sides’, & the prefix ‘a’ means lack of.
How can you cultivate this freeing yama in your your yoga practice? Practice without forcing or pushing yourself beyond your limit greedily, the body will develop & unfold naturally & the practice will teach you what you have to learn as you keep practicing, even challenging asanas will become perhaps accessible as you let go of a specific outcome.

To apply aparigraha in your daily life: take only what you need, keep only what serves you in the moment & let go when the time is right. … Realize change is the only constant in life, to become attached is to suffer.
