reminder: always practice, never perfect

It´s already been a week since we were together, sharing, singing, practicing, playing, dancing, hugging & uplifting each other at the Barcelona Yoga Conference. I can´t say this week has been easy for me, it feels rather strange to go back into “normal life” and wonder why our days can´t be filled with the sharing, the loving & the amazingness that was the days we shared together at the Conference.

Also, as it very often happens to me when I spend some time with inspiring teachers, I feel SO overwhelmed by the knowledge & vastness of the teachings shared, I need some time to process and digest, time we normally don’t allow ourselves to take in between all our daily activities, it never feels enough.  I’ve been feeling really inspired after the Conference and motivated to share what has risen up for me, but often it’s challenging to find the right words or language to share what you have experienced so deeply and so difficult to describe what you felt in a man made language, when it´s so beyond words…

Last Monday, I sat for some time at Krishna Das´ talk and was lucky to listen to these words as a beautiful reminder of the intention & nature of the practice:

Discovering your true nature is like reflecting yourself in a dusty mirror.

And so, during this week I´ve manage to come to this conclusion: “When it gets overwhelming & you feel like there is no progress, remind yourself that every moment is an opportunity to practice, every situation, every breath, every interaction, a chance to keep the teachings present and observe your reflection through the dusty mirror & wipe it clean by facing what you see, always always progress, never perfect”…

Life goes on, in the meantime, let´s continue to seek beautiful encounters to uplift & share our light & love with others. And the greatest news: the dates for the Barcelona Yoga Conference 2018 have already been proposed: 19 – 23 of july, check out all the info here & be on the lookout for early bird prices, scholarships & karma yogi opportunities to be sure not to miss it!

happiest wishes,
