Reflecting on day 4 at #BYC2017 w/ Cosima Bachler

Every day, I browse out to capture the highlights and take-aways of some of our BYC yogis.

On day 4 I turned camera and mic around and interviewed myself, Cosima Bachler 😀 I am a nomadic massage therapist and give workshops on different tools that improved my life wherever I am.

How was your day at BYC?

Intense! A lot of everything. And very, very, very beautiful.

Can you share something beautiful and something that was challenging for you today?

There were so many beautiful things today. But something special was definitely the yoga class with Takis, Ale, Juan Carlos and Lulu and Mishka today! That was a phenomenal yoga class: wild and free, totally my way and exactly what I needed.

Because what was challenging for me was the class before. That was just too much for me. I was needing something more quiet, and in that class there was so much going. I felt really challenged because it stirred up many things inside of me and I felt very out of my center, out of my calm.

So in the second class, with Takis and Ale, it was so beautiful because I found the space to just be. Like Takis said, be like a butterfly and kissing the flowers. [giggles] So then, all the sudden, I broke out in tears. Out of joy and sadness. And that brought a great release and boosted an ongoing process.

So yeah, the first class was challenging and the second was beautiful.

And what will you take with you from today?

Be honest. Yeah, be honest! There is no point in pretending.

And that the right people will love you more for that. That’s it.

Thank you for reading this post, dear reader!

After sharing other people’s experiences I felt it was the right thing to also share myself. Literally step into the other side. It was all such a wonderful experience! Not just to be and meet and connect at BYC, but to get to listen to all the wonderful experiences my interviewees shared – and to see the incredible shining light and love in their eyes while doing so.

So a BIG thank you to everyone who talked to me – which was everyone I asked! Incredible! Thank you so much for your time and openness and sharing. And an other huge thank you to everyone who is reading this. It has been a pleasure to share a pinch of the magic vibe at BYC with people who might not have been able to be here with us physically this time.

I teach and share wherever I am, which you can best check out on instagram or at www.breatheandplay.com.
