Namaste Yogis and Yoginis

Being a new author of BYC, when I got invited in the blog I was told that they’re looking for people who write from their heart. Truly appreciated, though this is my second post, I’m taking the opportunity now to share a little about me.
Yoga has proved to be much more than I could ever think. I was first introduced to the philosophy and then jumped on the mat. This was the moment a miraculous trip had just begun.
I decided to break out of the conventional patterns and follow my heart. Becoming more open to life and having synchronicity as my ally, I started experiencing a wonderful chain of events. Travelling around, meeting beautiful souls, getting inspired meanwhile establishing a more profound connection with myself and yoga.
Even in times of confusion there was always a sign pointing the next move. One thing led to another and I found myself in India, living in an ashram and completing a yoga ttc. A story that has totally transformed my life and was beyond imagination few years back. Deeply grateful for everything that has been given to me, I’m looking forward to the next step of my yogic adventure.
Writing in this blog is also part of this meaningful journey. My profile name “yogajyoti” is a combination of my inner philosophy. Yoga, likewise for many of you, is my path towards self-awareness and Jyoti in Sanskrit means light, similar to my Greek name Fotini.
Since I was younger I could feel the importance of my name but now I know why.

In my effort to “be in Light”, I want to thank you for contributing positive to the collective consciousness we all share.

Love to all!
